How it works

You upload. They configure. We handle the rest.

  1. Upload your work once

    Add a piece, or sync the Shopify collections you already have. One upload covers every size, paper, frame and mat combination. You never create a variant.

  2. Your collector makes it theirs

    They configure the print on your product page, see it on a wall, and check out through your normal Shopify checkout. Nothing about your store changes.

  3. The order prints itself

    The finished configuration goes straight to the print lab. No spreadsheets, no forwarding emails, no packing tape. Tracking reaches your customer automatically.

Certificate of Authenticity

Every print arrives with its papers

MadeReady generates a real Certificate of Authenticity for each order and emails it to your collector when the print ships. Your name on it, not ours.

On Pro you can set the accent colour, write your own statement, and add your signature.

We realized the e-commerce tools specific to fine artists and photographers — the ones they needed most — weren't easy to find. We believe that creatives deserve to have their work presented to the world in a way that honors their time and their craft.

So we made our own — and more is on the way.

Questions

The things artists ask us first

Do I have to create a variant for every size and frame?

No, and that is the whole point. You upload a piece once. Every combination of size, paper, frame and mat is resolved when the collector buys, so you can offer thousands of options on a normal Shopify plan without ever touching the variant limit.

Does this replace my Shopify checkout?

Never. Your collector pays through your own Shopify checkout, with your payment providers, your taxes and your discounts, exactly as they do today.

Do I have to pack and ship anything?

No. When an order is paid, MadeReady sends the finished configuration and the correctly sized print file to the lab. They print it, frame it, and ship it to your collector, and the tracking goes out automatically.

How long does setup take, and do I need a developer?

About ten minutes, and no. You install the app, connect the lab, set your markup, and turn MadeReady on in your theme with one toggle. There is no code and no Liquid to edit.

What does it cost?

Free for up to 10 pieces, with no credit card. Pro is $49 a month for unlimited pieces, a custom Certificate of Authenticity, full analytics, and no MadeReady branding. See pricing.

Who actually prints my work?

Lumaprints, a fine art lab, on archival papers with pigment inks. Prodigi is coming.

Can I set my own prices?

Yes. You set a markup on top of the print cost, and you keep the difference. The collector sees your price, live, as they configure.
